The 102nd Annual Meeting has come to a close, but here in D.C. we’re still buzzing with excitement and we hope you are too! This year’s meeting was a great success, thanks in large part to all of you who attended the Day on the Hill, the policy track programs, and our policy committee meetings. The July edition of the Washington E-Bulletin will include some of the highlights from the meeting, so stay tuned for that update.
If you’re new to the Washington Blawg, welcome! The Blawg covers policy issues, news, resources and events of interest to the law library community. You can sign up for RSS feeds or to receive updates via email here.
The best way to receive important updates from the Government Relations Office, connect with other AALL members interested in advocacy, and find out what’s happening on the state level is to sign up for the Advocacy Listserv. We also encourage you to post to the listserv if there are policy developments that affect law libraries in your state. The Government Relations Office is here to help, and we rely on you to keep us informed of policy developments at the state level.
Thanks again to all of you who helped make the 2009 Annual Meeting a success. It was exciting to see many of you here in Washington, D.C. and we look forward to seeing you again next year in Denver, Colorado!
